So what gave me the bright idea to just change my entire life? I mean, I am going from being an Accountant, that has worked with companies worth millions of dollars to an Esthetician student. Why? Call me crazy but I believe life is truly what you make it. In this post I will walk you through how I finally tapped into my core values and found my true purpose and focus.
Raise your hand if you have ever taken a trip and had to replace entire makeup collections because you forgot yours at home. True story, I once left for a week long business trip and completely forgot all of my makeup at home. It was the first time that I was meeting my new boss. Thank goodness for GPS and Wal-Greens. How many times have you been driving to the store and end up in route to your job? Or worse, how many times have your driven right by your kiddos school or daycare simply because your mind is racing with a million different things.
Don't feel bad, I have certainly been there. In fact, ever scenario listed above I personally have experienced. But, there is light at the end of the cluttered tunnel. In this blog I share how to identify exactly how to pin point where you need to improve to organize the chaos and start taking back your life.
Everyone knows it is all about the brow. I spend no more than 20 minutes each morning putting on my makeup. Literally, at least 7 to 8 minutes of that time is spent on my brows. However, it has taken hours of practice and several types of products to consistently achieve a brow look that I love and lasts the entire day. In this blog I share the affordable brow gels that I use to fill my brows.
The Ardell brow gel is my favorite of the 3 products that I am reviewing. It comes in 5 shades, but I selected the Dark Brown as my natural brows are black. It came with a dual purpose brush, spooly & angeld brow brush for application. This gel is dense and thick so very little goes a long way. The gel dries quickly on skin, but can we wiped away from brush bristles very easily. This gel can be purchased from Sally's Beauty Supply for $8-$10 (taxes vary based on your city). The only draw back is it does dry very quickly, so if you do mess up or are trying to buff out some of the denseness, it is hard to correct therefore, shaping/clean up time can be a little longer. I would recommend this product for more seasoned makeup users that are just looking for a better brow product vs someone still learning a brow technique. The Florapy Arnica Ros Strength and Energy Mask was one of the more fun items in this months box. Mostly because when I put in on I felt as if I was dressed like Michael Myers from the horror films "Halloween" but after my fun subsided, I sat and watched a bit of TV while the mask did its things. The Florapy Arnica Ros Strength and Energy Mask is designed to awaken and revived tired skin, helps eliminate puffiness and promotes a deep cleansing of the pores. I am not a huge family of scented anything, but I can say this products smell was not over whelming and didn't make my eyes water, nor did it seem to bother my sister and niece that were sitting next to me. As for the other claims, I cannot say that my skin felt more awake or revived, however, my skin was stimulated and had a slight tingling sensation, The mask added hydration and is similar to what I can describe best as any deep conditioning treatment for your face. Each packet is $8.00 and if you battle with severely dry skin, this very well be your solution.
