She's Back - Welcome Back Kennedy Rawlings - Yoga Announcement

Hope your back to school season is going off without a hitch! There is nothing I love more than a freshly sharpened pencil. When I was little my momma didn't take me to the doll aisle as a reward she took me to the office supply aisle. Maybe it is my accounting background or just my type-A personality, but I am pretty sure I love school supply shopping way more the average bear.  Seriously, Staples is like one of my favorite places...anyway. The summer at Oasis was full of joy, vacation and lessons learned.  The joy of doing something I love and offering it to people in my community has yet to be matched. And the lesson that not everything works out... it sucks..., but I am really learning to go with my gut on the things that matter most and it has yet to fail me, so I guess that muscle is getting stronger ?!?.  I hope you were able to check out my personal Instagram page to catch a rare glimpse of #vacationdavid dancing; if you need a good laugh please watch the video of him dancing with Abby (AKA #nugget) in Atlanta. It is like watching a live version of "How You think You look Vs. What you Actually Look Like".

I want to give a  huge shout out to Ms. Martha Peebles and Ms. Joan Sherwood for being our Summer Yoga Instructors. They were absolutely amazing and we would love to have them back to teach anytime!! We have so much coming up in the next few months....not to mention Apple Festival is upon us. It is so weird how much I love the chaos in Murphysoboro that comes with this time of the year.  Who is ready to put out some chairs? >>This Girl<<!

Here at the Oasis... Chantelle is kicking butt as Office Manager, Alex survived yet another Crimson Express Band Camp, and we are thrilled to welcome Ms. Kennedy back into the fold!   Now that Kennedy is done saving the world one Touch of Nature hike at a time she will be back teaching in our little Zen Zone. Come join our Small Group Yoga sessions where you are encouraged to ask questions and learn in an accepting, calm and hands-one environment.

Other Community Yoga Options:

We are actively looking for a Yoga Instructor to teach in the evenings but in the meantime, the beloved Ms. Martha Peebles is offering a John A. Logan Continuing Education Strength and Stretching w/ Gentle Yoga Class at 4:30 pm at the Murphysboro Youth Center on Wednesdays starting at September 4th. Register on the 1st day of class.

Our Alex will be officially leaving us at the end of this month. But don't worry you can still see her by taking advantage of her 50% Off a Gel Nail Set deal.
