I am loving the products I am getting to try out in my Glossy Box.

This October my GlossyBox was full of surprises. Check out the mini-reviews of all the products.

The Lollipops Red nail lacquer is is a great nail color and here is proof.
I don't usually polish my daughter's nails because she can't sit long enough to let them dry. In this case, I polished them right before bed time. I know, risky but especially for my kiddo. We literately blew on them for about 2 to 3 minutes before I tucked her in to bed.  In the morning there was minimal fabric damage :). So yes, this polish after 2 coats, dried really quickly. Also, at the end of the week my daughter's nail were still polished, dispute her efforts to scrap it off with her teeth as she normally does, the polished last 3 full days. It wasn't until she ran her nails across paper that she realized her nails could be used as a sort of crayon, breaking the lacquers seal and causing the polish to chip. Once she got good footing, she scraped the rest of the polish off easily with her teeth. Needless to say, this is a great nail color. Only two coats needed, dries fast, and lasts. Worth $10.00? For me, the benefits doesn't out weigh the cost. I have a few Finger Paint colors that work just as well and retail for $5.00 - $7.00.

PHYTOPHYTOKÉRATINE MaskThis particular product came at an inopportune time of the month. About 3 weeks prior to the arrival of the "Da Box" I got a fresh sew -in. If you know how hard a great sew -in is hard to find and how much one costs, then you already know, I did not take it down to sample a hair care product. Certainly, not for one that was not specifically formulated for African- American Natural Hair.   So, in a couple of weeks, I will have a product review for you. Based on the ingredients list I think this is going to be a great product for my hair. In fact,  I may try it on Abby's hair as her hair really coarse & dry.

The Votre Vu - Oh Lighten Up! Intensif Treatment Spot Creme is one of my favorite items that was delivered this month. The cream is very smooth and thin. Very little is needed to cover the dark acne scars on my cheeks for impatient pimple popping. Obviously, 3 weeks of using this product is not enough time to see major results, however, it didn't cause any irritation. I will record an update of this product review an the next month.

The SABE MASSON Le Soft Perfume is a super environmentally conscience person's dream and a busy woman's best friend. It has natural ingredients and is  free of alcohol and parabens. It is a non- oily and does last for a long time.  However the scent is not for me. It is very earth and musky. It honestly reminds me of my mothers old Sand and Sable perfume she wore when I was younger. The best thing about this product is that it travels so well. No leaking or TSA searches, it is a fragrance stick similar to a stick of Coco Butter.

DE BRUYÈRE PARIS Red Lipgloss was hands down my favorite item in the October Glossy Box. This lip gloss was highly pigmented and was not at all sticky. It stayed in play well too. Pictured to the right I applied the product without any liner to demonstrate just how vibrantly the shade comes across. I really like this product, however, would I pay nearly 18.00 for it? Likely not, there are several gloss brands that give the same results for about 10.00 a bottle. Granted, the ingredients in the product isn't consistently found in the lower end comparable products.
