What is your Skin Type?

Perform your own Skin Analysis

To determine the type of skin you have, you must complete a Skin Analysis. The overall appearance of your skin will define your skin type.  When analyzing your skin, there are a few questions you should asked yourself. These questions will help identify the key skin factors for which you should be looking.

​After washing with your current product (Do not Moisturize)  ask yourself the following questions:

  1. Does your skin feel tight though your forehead?
  2. Does your skin feel “ashy” around your month?
  3. Within 30 minutes to an hour, is your skin shiny?
  4. Does your cheeks feel drier than the rest of your face?
  5. Does your skin look red or blotchy?
  6. Does your skin ever itchy with your products?
  7. Do you have lots of wrinkles around your eyes, mouth, or forehead?
  8. Are your pores visible? Can you easily see them, particularly in your inner and outer cheek area?​

These tips will help your skin stay healthier no matter its type.

  • None Stripping Cleanser: Just because it is cream based doesn’t mean it is non- stripping. If you feel tight or dry after cleansing you skin, you are indeed stripping it.
  • Use a broad spectrum sunscreen that blocks both UVA and UVB rays. Avoid direct sunlight and wear a hat and sunglasses if you know you are going to be in the sun longer than 20 minutes.
  • Don’t smoke, but if you do invest in an Oxygen Serum and an Anti-Oxidant Serum.
  • Stay hydrated.- Your Skin is an Organ in your body that is 70% Water. If you have dry skin you need more than 8 glasses of water a day. You can tell that you need more water in your body when you lips are dry.  But also add hydration directly to  your skin as you age as the skins ability to hold moisture diminishes.
  • Cleanse your skin at least once a day to remove any makeup or grim that has landed on it throughout the day.
  • Moisturize your skin after each wash. Moisturizer is the BEST thing you can do for your skin.
  • Limit toxins – Alcohol and Caffeine dehydrate your body. For every 1 (one) of these types of drinks you have, drink a glass of water to keep the hydration balance.
