10 Tips  To Have Healthy Skin

Do you ever wonder how celebrities get that Glowing Skin? Healthy skin isn’t hard to have, but you must be willing to change a few habits. In this post, I’ll reveal the Top 10 things that all women with beautiful skin do religiously.

Avoid Sun Exposure

Did you know about 80% of premature aging is caused by the sun? Nearly 95% of sun radiation is UVA (Ultra Violet Aging) radiation. This type of sun radiation can penetrate deep into the skin causing collagen and elastin damage, making the skin less firm and droopy. Also, it causes Free Radicals, which if they get deep enough into the skin can cause cancer.

Solution: USE SUN SCREEN. Sun Screen is the number one Anti-Aging product. Apply a broad spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 at least 20 minutes before you leave the house and if you are consistently in the sun re-apply every hour.

Excuses not to use Sun Screen:
It makes me oily – here are several quality sun screens that are in a powder form to keep your Matte makeup looking great.
I hate the way Sun Screen smells – Again there are plenty of fragrance free sun screens that work super well.
I am black, I don’t need sun screen. Black people indeed have a built in defense called melanin. However, changes in the sun intensity will cause even black skin to burn. Also, when melanin cells are constantly being “activated” it can cause or contribute to hyper-pigmentation (dark spots or discoloration). So black beauties need to use Sun Screen too.

Eat Healthy Nutritious Foods

You’ve heard the popular saying, ‘everything is in moderation’. That does NOT apply to fresh fruits and vegetables. Fresh fruits and veggies are full of essential vitamins that help build healthy skin cells. Learn how foods affect your skin.

Do Not Smoke

Avoid Excessive Alcohol

Here is where the “everything in moderation” saying indeed does apply. An over indulgence of alcohol can cause the skin to dehydrated. Dehydrated skin is prone to sensitivity. Excessive alcohol use can flare up other skin issues such as Rosacea.

Drink Plenty of Water

Healthy skin is made up of about 64% water, the rest are tissues, proteins, fat etc. Over half of your skin is water. Water is constantly being removed from the skin simply from the process of evaporation. Let’s not even discuss the dehydrating effects of caffeinated drinks. Replenish your skin’s water everyday with 8-10 glasses of water.

Use Beneficial Home Care Products

Quality Products and proper home care is absolutely key in having and maintaining healthy skin. Professional grade products have better delivery systems to ensure the product is getting deeper into the skin. Also, great Skin Care systems, use great ingredients. You can expect to spend a bit of money, but in the long run professional grade products are much more potentate than over the counter, therefore your product will last much longer and do more for you.

Another little hint. Use professional act home products AS instructed. Over use of TOP Bar products or products in general will cause more damage than good. Your skin can only absorb so much, so don’t waste it. Also, in some causes, too much of specific products such as acidic cleansers can dry the skin and make it sensitive. Please use all professional skin care systems as directed.

Get plenty of Rest

Your body is always working to repair itself, however, during the sleep cycle the body can focus on the replenishing process. The process in which new cells are created to replace the old dying ones on the skins surface. Proper sleep helps with concentration, so that’s a huge plus.

Exercise Regularly

Exercise is a must. Regular exercise will help increase blood flow, which means increased oxygen to the cells. Oxygen is a vital part in the creation of healthy cells. Also, sweat helps to clear the skin of impurities and BONUS exercise is both calming and energizing. That means you need less sleep, but sleep more soundly.

Get Regular Facials

I am not just saying this because I am working on building my clientele. Professional facials are proven to delay aging because they are designed to increase blood flow to the surface of the skin, encourage new collagen production , deep cleanse the skin to keep blemishes at bay and educate consumers about the important uses as directed by professional at home products.
