Post-Care/Home Care

Instructions Day 1: • Immediately After – Swelling and “redness” (similar to a mild sunburn) is normal, may last a few hours, or 1-2 days. Your skin may feel tight, dry, or sensitive to touch. Do not apply any topicals or water to the treated area for 6 hours after treatment.

• Cool globes or icing can be used to cool the heating effect for the first 24-48 hrs.

• Post-treatment skin will be red, with mild swelling and/or bruising, and your skin might feel tight and sensitive to the touch for 3-7 days.

• Avoid vigorous exercise, hot tubs, pools, sauna or steam for 24 hours after treatment.

• Do not apply make-up, creams, lotions, oils or essential oils for 24 hours to treated area.

• Apply Hyaluronic acid provided by your technician (refrigerate for a cooling effect), then moisturize with Omega Balm™ multiple times throughout the day during healing window.

Days 2-7: • Dry skin and bronze microspot (stamp marks) usually appear 1-2 days after the treatment. DO NOT pick, scratch, or scrub at treated skin. You must allow the old skin to flake off naturally.

• DO NOT PICK SKIN! This may cause hyperpigmentation or scarring.

• If discomfort occurs post treatment, do NOT use any Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Beta Hydroxy Acid, Retinol (Vitamin A), Vitamin C (in a low pH formula), exfoliating scrubs or anything perceived as ‘active’ skincare.

• Avoid sun exposure during healing time; SPF 30+ sunscreen must be applied 10 minutes prior to sun exposure and worn everyday, rain or shine.

• Keep skin clean and protected to avoid infection. If skin becomes painful or redness persist, please contact us immediately.

Day 5-10: • Pigment will start to soften and fade. You may start all your regular skincare products once your skin no longer feels irritated, is dry or flaky. You should notice continued skin improvement over the next two months following your treatment.

For best results:

• For low/mid settings we recommend follow-up treatments every 4-6 weeks, with a series of 3-6 treatments.

For higher settings, we recommend treatments every 6 to 8 weeks, for 2-3 treatments. Maintenance treatments twice annually.
