An Update from Lilly:
As promised, below is an update on my new (but really old) direction with Oasis.
The Transition
Oasis is scaling back to the basics to ensure the longevity and integrity of the beautiful brand and business we have built these past nearly 10 years. It is the end of an Era! I set out to serve the women of this community and still will do so, but I also wanted to prove that in a town of less than 8k, not only could the business survive and thrive, but I could also employ others and allow them to make a living doing what they enjoy. Check and Check. Returning to a solo provider allows me to grow my new child, Skincare Business & Bookkeeping Inc., and maintain Oasis on my terms while exploring my role as an educator without the demands of managing a team.
Over the next 3 months, Oasis will be scaling down its footprint. The large building (707 Walnut St) is going up for sale, and the Oasis brand will move into the smaller building (702 Chestnut St) in the back of the property. Come June, I will be opening up my appointment schedule to take more clients. I am working to keep all current offerings, but depending on partnerships and space, I will likely have a new, revamped, more limited service menu and hours of operations. Members, this might impact you as I am working through how and where to move the Hydrotable. I have a plan for a different offering that won’t require as much support, but is still just as effective. Nothing will change with our Spa Suites renters, except they will get a new neighbor, me and some new equipment.
Gift cards: Gift cards will be honored through expiration dates, of course, but if you do not wish to wait to get in, I strongly recommend that while staff is fully operational, those with outstanding gift cards, please reach out to schedule and redeem them. As always, we will keep track of those items pending expiration and will reach out to prompt you to plan ahead. Remember, they can be used on services and products.
Packages: If you have an outstanding package. We will contact you to ensure you know and can use your service promptly. They are only a handful, and you know who you are.
While I am grateful for every single client we have served over these years, as I will be the sole remaining Esthetician, I will not be able to service every client we have gained. Oasis Members, Morning Blossoms, and Weekend Warriors will be my priority, holding steady to the values of serving working mommies and those committed to consistently investing in their skin care journey.
Staff:
This is what made this decision the hardest, event though I knew it had to be done. If you love Shelby or Kelci’s services (and I know many of you do, as you should), please follow them on their next journey! Feel free to ask them where they are headed; you are welcomed and encouraged to share your information with them. However, please know that legally, they cannot simply take your information from the spa system; that is theft and a non-disclosure breach. If you want them to be able to find you, share your contact information directly with them.
Also, please get in touch with Tammy of Ms. Bliss and Shakira of KL Black Esthetics Studio. These are women I love and trust and will happily serve you.
I will have more availability in my schedule to accommodate those who want to continue the path I started nearly 10 years ago. I know this change will disrupt scheduling, and I will do my best to meditate the inconvenience.
Does anyone want to be on the mover’s list?
Thank you so much. And continue to Stay Tuned as I will continue to update you on the next steps of this journey.
Sincerely and Gratefully Yours,
Lilly Cook
