The skin classic machine uses direct high frequency to dehydrate minor irregularities on the surface of the skin. It is a safe non-invasive, non-laser treatment that targets common skin conditions with no downtime.
A small probe is used (that barely touches the skin) to vaporize and dry the affected area creating a small crust that heals and flakes off within 3-15 days with minimal discomfort. Results can usually be seen after one treatment. Once the irregular area is treated, the irregularity will not return in that spot. If your skin is prone to these types of growths, new ones may appear elsewhere on your skin.
You will receive post-treatment recommendations and schedule a follow-up appointment to monitor your improvement. Downtime with most skin conditions are minimal with the treatment but the skin needs time to heal. Telangiectasis (Broken capillaries)
Telangiectasia is a common skin condition which broken or widened small blood vessels will sit near the surface of the skin to create patterns of lines. They can develop anywhere on the body but are commonly seen on the face around the nose, cheeks, chin and chest. Causes for Telangiectasia can include environmental damage such as sun or cold exposure and can increase as we age. Trauma to the skin such as contusions and surgical procedures are also a factor as well as radiation therapy.

Following the procedure it is recommended that you use a gentle cleaner twice a day, in addition to moisturizer and sunblock for positive healing. No harsh products should be used until the skin is smooth and free of redness, clients will develop a crust, reddened area or even a furrow like track within 24-36 hours. The crust or erythemic areas should shed within 7-14 days. Complete healing may take 30 days or longer. Cherry Angiomas
A cherry angioma is a noncancerous (benign) skin growth made up of blood vessels. They are fairly common skin growth that varies in size and usually occurs on the trunk (torso) but is rarely seen on the hands, feet, or face. A cherry angioma is bright red, anywhere from the size of a pinhead to a quarter inch in diameter, and can be either flat or domed. They usually increase in number with age but they are not serious. Their underlying cause is still unknown. Cherry angiomas rarely ever need to be treated, but if they affect your appearance or often bleed they can be removed.
The Skin Classic uses a small probe on a low setting to dehydrate and evaporate the blood that fills the cherry angioma until it is no longer visible, or barely visible. In the case of a large or very thick cherry angioma, it may take more than one treatment. You must wait 30 days (the complete healing cycle) to be retreated.
In most clients, the number of cherry angiomas will increase with age and for best results, it is always best to have them treated as soon as they appear and are small. Sebaceous Hyperplasia
Sebaceous Hyperplasia is a common and harmless skin condition where your sebaceous oil glands produce too much oil, which can then be trapped under your skin causing bumps. These lesions are usually 2 to 5 millimeters in diameter and are either flesh-colored or slightly yellow in color. They are usually round, surround a pore, and create a “donut-like” appearance most commonly on the facial skin, but they can occur on other parts of the body as well. It is harmless, but can often be unsightly, however, there are multiple ways to treat it.
The Skin Classic is an easy and very effective way to treat sebaceous hyperplasia without all of the typical, invasive medical interventions that are commonly used such as cauterization, laser treatment, or cryosurgery (liquid nitrogen) which risk scarring. The probe in the Skin Classic is naturally drawn to the sebum in the papule and can safely remove it with a light touch in a circular motion.
Following the treatment, crusts may appear within 24-36 hours. The skin may appear to have a mild depression where the sebaceous hyperplasia was removed, however within 7-14 days the crusts typically shed and the tissue will heal within 28-30 days. Brown Spots
Brown spots, or Lentigo, are noncancerous (benign) flat spots of increased pigmentation on the cell layer above the deepest membrane of the epidermis. The most common type of lentigo is a solar lentigo (sun spot, liver spot) which is caused by exposure to ultraviolet radiation from the sun. Because of this, they most commonly occur on areas of the skin most exposed to the sun like the face, arms, tops of hands, and chest. The spots are typically brown in color but can range from yellow to black and are smaller than 5mm in diameter. These types of spots most commonly appear in individuals ages 30-50 years old but can appear in those that are younger with increased exposure to the sun as well as artificial sources of UV light.

Remelanization or restoration of client's skin tone relies on the color of their skin. The darker the clients skin tone, the longer it may take to totally remelanize. Seborrheic Keratosis
A seborrheic keratosis is a noncancerous (benign) skin growth. They are usually brown, black or even tan in color with a slightly raised, and waxy or scaly appearance. These growths are usually found on the face, neck, chest, or back and are harmless. It is normal for them to sometimes become irritated with friction from clothing or jewelry causing slight, temporary pain and even become itchy. They can range from very small to more than 1 inch across.

Skin Tags
Skin tags are small, noncancerous (benign) skin growths that are typically the same, or a similar color of the skin and are very common. They are often found in the armpits, on the eyelids, groin, thighs, and the neck. Skin tags are harmless and pose no risk to your health. They can become irritated but are otherwise typically pain free. They are more common in those who have a family history of skin tags, those with diabetes and obesity. They can also be common when high levels of growth are experienced, which can happen during pregnancy.
The Skin Classic uses a gentle tapping method of the skin to dehydrate the tag and cause it to shed in a few days. Sometimes scabbing can occur.

Standard treatment of blackheads takes time to resolve and can take several weeks for noticeable results. Age is one of the biggest contributors to any acne, as younger individuals are more prone to it, but it is certainly not limited to them.
