Cryoskin services utilize a temperature-controlled massage wand in order to apply cold and heat to the face and/or body to stimulate and facilitate natural body processes which promote a slimmer, more toned appearance.
CryoSlimming®
CryoSlimming® uses the application of alternating heat and cold temperatures in order to stimulate and encourage the natural process of releasing fat cells through the lymphatic system. The massage wand is applied using a specialized technique in a localized area.
During the session, your client will experience a localized warming sensation, followed by a cold massage. The immediate drop in temperature will stimulate and encourage this natural process of releasing fat cells. Once the area has cooled to the target temperature range for this session, this process is cycled over the following fourteen days. Your client may see some immediate “slimming”, which is simply tension in the area that will hold from the application of colder temperatures. An optimal, longer lasting result will be seen at the end of 3 to 5 sessions, although some clients might require 10 or more for best results depending on their body composition and goals.
How Should I Prepare for this Service?
For CryoSlimming®, avoid working out 2 hours pre-treatment. Avoid carbs/sugars for a minimum of 2 hours before and after the treatment. Ensure that you drink enough water (half your body weight in ounces) every day for the 14 days following your treatment. CryoSlimming® uses the application of alternating heat and cold temperatures in order to stimulate and encourage the natural process of releasing fat cells through the lymphatic system
CryoToning® uses cold massage to smooth, lift, and firm skin, reduce the appearance of imperfections, and improve the skin’s overall texture and appearance.
The CryoToning® sessions utilize the application of cold temperatures to firm, smooth, and shape areas lacking elasticity by increasing microcirculation and stimulating collagen. These sessions improve blood flow through alternating vasoconstriction and vasodilation.
We typically recommend clients receive a minimum of 5 CryoToning® sessions for best results. These sessions should be performed 1 per week for clients under the age of 45, or 2 per week for clients over the age of 45.
It is recommended to space CryoToning® sessions out to allow for a minimum of 48 hours between sessions.
CryoFacials use cold temperatures to increase blood flow and oxygen, which helps to reduce the signs of aging while also providing brightening, contouring, and lifting. CryoFacials are a natural, non-invasive way to look younger and more radiant.
